Reading the label
A proprietary blend lists the total weight (458 mg here) but not how much of each ingredient it holds. That means you cannot compare a single ingredient against the doses used in studies. Check the Supplement Facts panel on the current bottle or vendor page for exact wording and allergens.
Possible interactions
Berberine, Ceylon cinnamon and corosolic acid are all studied for blood-sugar effects. If you take diabetes medication, blood pressure medication or blood thinners, ask your doctor or pharmacist first. Kudzu contains plant isoflavones, so people with hormone-sensitive conditions should also ask. Stop use and get medical help after any bad reaction.
Cinnamon type
The label names Ceylon cinnamon, which contains much less coumarin than the common cassia type. That is a point in its favour for daily use.
Sweeteners
The chewable is sweetened with xylitol and stevia. Xylitol is toxic to dogs, so keep the bottle away from pets. Large amounts of xylitol can also cause loose stools in some people.
Questions people ask
